Frontier invites pioneering developers or content developers to submit innovative applications and/or content that utilise 3rd generation technologies such as video and streaming to enhance end-user lifestyle or create tangible business benefit.

The Frontier program is open to any New Zealand or Australian developer with a next generation mobile and/or broadband application or content.

The prize pool is valued at $26,500. The grand prize winner receives a travel and accommodation package to 3GSM Asia or CommunicAsia in Singapore and a technology start-up pack of a Sony VAIO Laptop, 17" Sony Clear Bright Monitor and Sony MP3 Walkman. The winner also receives business consulting from MAP Management Consulting.
